Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Description

SAT is a mandatory exam to get undergraduate admission into any college of USA and test is used to evaluate a candidate’s critical thinking and problem solving skills which would help to measure their overall ability and potential to undertake the bachelor level study program.

The SAT Test is developed and administered by the USA-based 'College Entrance Examination Board'. This implies that College Board sets the questions, conducts the test, and sends each examinee the score report.

Examination Pattern/Syllabus

SAT is offered in two formats:SAT Reasoning Tests and SAT Subject Tests

SAT Reasoning Test

The SAT Reasoning Test helps in measuring students critical thinking. The SAT assesses how a student can analyze and solve problems that is need in college. Each section of the SAT is scored on a scale of 200—800, with two writing sub scores for multiple-choice and the essay.

SAT is a standard way of measuring a student's ability to do college-level work. Because courses and grading standards vary widely from school to school, scores on standardized tests, like the SAT , help colleges compare a student's academic achievements with those of students from different schools.
